Leadership Built on Service. Driven by Experience.

LINUS Investigations & Consulting was founded by Joanna Collins and Duane Collins following distinguished careers in federal law enforcement and public service. Today, LINUS is recognized as a Woman-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) dedicated to providing investigative excellence, forensic consulting, and litigation support throughout Texas.

Our clients trust us because our experience extends far beyond conducting investigations. Throughout our careers, we have supervised investigative personnel, directed complex criminal and administrative investigations, managed evidence collection and forensic operations, developed investigative policies, and provided strategic guidance in matters requiring the highest levels of professional judgment and integrity.

Every investigator assigned to a LINUS case brings substantial investigative experience developed through careers in government service and private practice. Collectively, our professionals have conducted or supervised thousands of criminal, administrative, and forensic investigations involving complex legal, regulatory, and evidentiary issues.

Forensic Expertise That Withstands Scrutiny

Our forensic consultants are nationally recognized professionals with extensive education, specialized training, and decades of practical investigative experience.

They have processed and documented complex crime scenes, supervised forensic operations, reviewed investigative sufficiency, and served as subject matter experts in matters requiring meticulous analysis and objective evaluation.

Their expertise extends beyond evidence collection. They understand the investigative process from initial response through courtroom presentation, allowing them to evaluate investigative decisions, identify deficiencies, and provide objective opinions supported by established investigative principles and accepted forensic practices.

Trusted Guidance for Complex Matters

Whether conducting an independent investigation, reviewing an existing investigation, or providing strategic consultation to attorneys and organizations, our commitment remains the same:

To ethically uncover the facts, preserve investigative integrity, and provide our clients with objective, defensible, evidence-based findings that support informed decision-making.

No matter the complexity of the assignment, our professionals approach every investigation with discretion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
